I remember the old days where we had three police/court room shows on tele. We had Cop Shop, LA Law NYPD Blue.
Now, I don’t know how many we have but I’d suggest its approaching 15 shows. There will soon be a CSI for every American state.

I’m from the inner west, Ascot Vale to be precise.
I went to a mate’s place in Rowville the other day and noticed there is a noticeable difference in how fast you can drive in the outer east.
On Springvale Rd you can zoom along at 80kmh. There is nowhere in the north west you can drive that fast (aside from the freeways).
Additionally main residential streets in and around Rowville are still 60kmh. Near where I live they are 50 kmh.
My point is that what sort of message is this sending? Some consistency, please.

I live in the City of Moonee Valley. This municipality now has more humps than a Baghdad camel race.
I think some speed humps are fine but not in almost every second semi-busy street. They are a pain in the neck - or rather lower back.
